Full-Time and/or Part-Time Kennel Attendant

Kennel Attendants for the Oxford Lafayette Humane Society must be compassionate animal care staff responsible for cleaning all animal enclosures and furnishings; feeding and exercising animals; and monitoring the animals' health. Other duties include assisting the public, cleaning of the shelter, inputting information into shelter software system, and performing other duties as assigned by a supervisor. This position will also need to educate prospective adopters with regard to animal and breed-specific information and personality characteristics, while also promoting spay/neuter and responsible animal care giving.

Must be willing to work weekends and holidays. Must have valid MS drivers license and reliable transportation. Must be willing to submit to random drug screening. To apply, visit the Oxford Lafayette Humane Society to complete the employment application.
